Culinary Arts CTE

The Culinary Arts/Hospitality Program is designed to be a two-year program that incorporates the National Restaurant Association’s “ProStart” curriculum. Students will explore potential career paths in the food service industry, with emphasis on technical skills, customer relations, restaurant organization, and the ServSafe sanitation program. Students will complete career exploration and study projects in the hospitality industry, which includes lodging and travel and tourism. Students who successfully complete the program may receive nationally recognized certificates.

With our parternship with the Copper Country Intermediate School District Career & Technical Education Center, we are able to offer our dual-enrollment opportunities to Baraga County students. The program is offered within the Three Sisters Cafe location at the KBOCC Wabanung Campus.

For more information regarding the CTE programs, visit the CCISD CTE website.

Students enrolled in the Culinary Arts CTE program have the ability to dual-enroll and receive college credits (with the approval from their district counselor and parent/guardian, if applicable) at no cost to the student!
