Program Review

Academic program review is a collaborative and comprehensive process to evaluate KBOCC’s educational programs to assess the effectiveness in meeting the needs of students, the community, and the College’s mission of providing quality education that empowers both students and the tribal community. It ensures that programs remain culturally relevant, responsive to community needs, and meet educational standards.

CRITERIA

The effectiveness of academic programs is reviewed in terms of relevance and quality against the established APR Criteria.

SCHEDULE/TIMELINE

Academic programs typically clustered by Department are reviewed on a 5-year rotational basis following the master schedule set by the Assessment Committee. Each cycle follows the academic year (September – June) timeline with kick-off early fall and presentation to the Board of Regents by the end of summer semester.
