KBOCC Board of Regents
Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College is governed by an independent, eight-member Board of Regents with clearly defined authority and fiduciary responsibility for the College. Members serve four-year terms, with the
option for reappointment.
As a Tribal land grant institution, KBOCC understands governance as a form of stewardship.
The Board’s responsibility is not limited to immediate operational decisions; it includes
sustaining institutional stability, educational opportunity, and mission fulfillment for current
learners, the KBIC community, and future generations.
